Alex Chitty and Zach Reini
LVL3 presents Codification: a two-person exhibition by Chicago-based Alex Chitty and Denver-based Zach Reini. Codification brings together two artists who deal with similar methods of construction while presenting varying forms of medium. Chitty works to push the limits of the traditional picture—often alluding to new systems of ubiquitous perception. Reini focuses on the “negative-reflection” of over-saturated and processed information within everyday life. Codification pulls the systematic methods of these two artists’ approaches into an arrangement of essential variables.
